Class Description
Hosted by Emily of Hercinia Arts This course is an abbreviated introduction to aerial silks ambience or animation, modified from my usual 5 week course. This is a type of practice or performance that is durational in form, and involves sustained movements and focus from the performer. In this introductory course we’ll explore various methods to hone physical and mental endurance while cultivating a creative and improvisational practice through warm-up exercises, conditioning, creative prompts, ambience practice and discussions as well as learning a few sequences and skills for ambience on fabric. Suggested Kids Silks Level 3+ and Adult Silks Level 1+

All workshops require a minimum of 4 registered participants to run. If this minimum is not met, the workshop may be cancelled or rescheduled. In the event that PCA cancels a workshop, all registered participants will receive a full refund. Due to the small size and limited capacity of our workshops, we are unable to offer refunds for participant cancellations or missed classes. Please ensure you are able to attend before registering.
