Prairie Circus Arts is pleased to present "The Dead of Winter" - the full cabaret experience brought directly to your home. Close your eyes and imagine a world of red curtains, stage lights, candle lit tables and we'll take you the rest of the way with an incredible cast of comedians, acrobats, contortionists and dancers!
This family friendly show embraces and embodies the crisp, cold nights of Manitoba and the landscape that created these artists- who exemplify the true hard working and "never-say-die" attitude of our province.
Prairie Circus Arts is thrilled to be able to invite you to this complimentary performance and bring a little bit of light to your home- even in the dead of winter..! The show will be live-streamed on January 30th at 7:00 PM.

Everyone knows a great cabaret has great wine and food- which is why we’re proud to have partnered with Thermea Winnipeg who is preparing a special “Cabaret for Two” prix-fixe menu for the Dead of Winter Cabaret!
In an effort to support other local businesses who have also been affected by the pandemic, we encourage you to place an order around an hour before the show starts so you can enjoy the Cabaret with some incredible food done by Chef Stuart and Chef Navarro!
This incredible menu will provide you the closest thing to the “Dinner and a Show” experience without actually being in the theatre! On the day of the cabaret, we will post a link directly to Thermea’s ordering and delivery portal!
A great thing about this menu- It’s all up to you and yours! Your choice of two salads:
Scandinavian Arugula Green Goddess Salad: Baby arugula served with creamy green goddess dressing, radish, and a generous amount of grated Pecorino Romano cheese.
Beet and Feta Salad: Baby arugula topped with traditional balsamic vinaigrette, crumbled feta cheese, and cooked beets
... and a choice of one of two pasta dishes:
Black Garlic Cream Pasta: Quality Rummo noodles, black garlic cream sauce, mushroom, parmesan cheese, crispy fried garlic, green onion, garlic toast.
Braised Short Ribs in Peanut Sauce Pasta (add $5): Quality Rummo noodles, braised short ribs, peppers, mushrooms, olives, peas and noodles tossed in a coconut milk peanut sauce.
... and a main course:
Braised Beef Short Rib: Served with creamy mashed potatoes, steamed broccolini, jus, green onion, and olives.
... AND a Thermea S’Mores Kit for TWO
... AND a mini 200mL of Spanish cava (yes, some bubbly!): Jaume Serra Cristalino Brut- Subtle aromas of apple, spices, flowers and nuts. Intense ginger and apple flavors complicated by nutty and floral nuances.
